I just bought the humdifier new and added the filter because I know my water isn't the best. Got both in the same box and proceeded to think I was inane crazy because the filter just wouldn't fit. Ended up calling Winch directly who didn't want to help me because we didn't have the correct number of some sort. Unfortunately, hostile to our request, some retailers are still selling/shipping an older model of filter that does not work with the newest model of Drop Shape.

The filter is easy to put in the slot and lasts a good long while. I'm very pleased!
