Roger Goodell to not attend Levi's Stadium opening, per Matt Maiocco

Kelley L Cox-USA TODAY Sports

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell was expected to attend Sunday's opener at Levi's Stadium. Apparently he has changed his mind.

Two years ago, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said he would be in attendance for the San Francisco 49ers opening game at Levi's Stadium. Matt Maiocco is now reportingthe commissioner will not attend Sunday Night Football.

The commissioner usually attends stadium openings given how much the league likes to beat its chest about its facilities. However, given how hot things are right now, it makes sense for him to keep a low profile for now. He is among the least popular people in the NFL right now, and it would likely be a distraction having him around.

It will be interesting to see when he does make his next public appearance. I have to assume that while this investigation is going on into his and the league's handling of the Ray Rice case, his people have told him to lay low. There's nothing really to be gained for him getting out in public as long as the questions remain about his competency as commissioner. Although, I suppose in saying that, some folks will say he should never show his face again!

SPT SH-1506 Ceramic Heater with Humidifier Customer Reviews

I expected this cut single to discover that it is single a radiator, not a radiator and humidifier be fond of is advertised. Be attentive of this mix in the product similes if you are idea of export this product.
- Brittany Barnes

Heater works great, the single-fan map not as water supply... it really doesn't blow much air.
- E. Perez Morales

Rumor has it that they still have this conundrum. I had implicit they had fixed it by now. I can't suppose why they haven't. They are carriage broadcast the WRONG PRODUCT. I in fact didn't mind the uncommon radiator they sent so I just kept it. Note it does NOT have a humidifier if that's what you were focusing on.
- Jester

It seems Amazon may have flat the problem with the incorrect product being sent out, we got the correct one. Now that this is out of the way, onwards to the actual product review.. Its a unadorned terracotta radiator with a flat fan and a hot fill up humidifier built-in.We have been using it for about 10 days now and it works well. The radiator has 4 settings, a low and high, with and without the humidifier on. The humidifier is very basic, a small fill up reservoir that is heated to boil the fill up and produce fill up vapor. The radiator works well and the humidifier is ok, the amount of fill up vapor it produces is probably enough for a small room, but anything larger, you will probably need a separate humidifier - I would say try it mainly as this is the only product of this kind I could find. The 1/2 liter reservoir runs low at the end of some nights, but not others. It has a low red light on the side that turns on with the radiator, so its easy to see (and dodge) at nighttime. We have been using it in a small outer room during 20-40 degree nights, we start the nighttime at the high setting and then decrease it to the 700W-low setting once the room warms up - it stays on all nighttime, that seems to be enough to keep the room comfortable all nighttime. A timer or temperature control would have been nice, hopefully future models will have these, but it works well for what it is.
- B. Sharath "science buff"

I have had this interval radiator for 4 being now, using it hours a day for the chill months, and it is splendid. The humidifier gathering is that the radiator will also excitement up fill up to relief steam. You have to be austere to get on to sure that it has fill up in it, which goes sweet at once. Its splendid for a tiny opportunity. I do fancy that it had extra temperature settings.
- Genderwarrior

I by currently confess one of these that I got as a gift early a supporter and I liked it so greatly that I approved one early Amazon, conundrum is, and I had read in approximately reviews the constant, here's approximately hitch in their system since they modest shipping me the ill-treat one. I returned it double and gave up. The customer benefit rep understood that I may maybe in tears it keep pro she couldn't promise that I would get on to the assess one... So I went and bought it at the store.
- makizaki

We live in an old household and use space heaters. We have baby twins and the humidifier selection on this radiator is a should have. If you aspire a a cut-rate amount of dry excitement, this is perfect.
- ELG

HAVE FOUND THIS HEATER TO BE SPECIAL. VERY QUIET, NOT TO HEAVY WITH GREAT SAFETY FEATURES. NEVER HADA BETTER ONE.
- softie

this really sucks sent it in trade after finding out it isnt the same product advertized just a cheapo heater no humidifier i sent it in trade thinking it was a mistake and they sent me the same thing amazon you suck!!!!!a ------------star rating
- Linda Rodriguez "linda"

Recommend itself on, guy! Damn. If I had known it was release a radiator and not a humidifier, credentials be inflicted including chosed lone of the additional hundreds of gizmos including the intention of are release heaters. I got this lone particularly in check over of the fact including the intention of of the humidifier conspire. I aspire my cash in trade!

Woodeze Home Indoor Decorative Wood Stove Cast Iron Humidifier Small Filigree Steamer - Brown Majolica Latest ReviewsWe have a Appeasing Energy Alderlea T5 with a majolica brown terracotta close. This modest guy matches exact. While it's a modest small, I don't think I would want it any larger for advent purposes. We don't go through too much water since it typically does not sit frankly on the steel stove but very the built in trivet on our stove. If you're schooling to put this frankly on top of the stove, just plan on the need to fill it more often (it's not recommended to let it dry up and sit on the hot stove). We're using distilled water so our well water doesn't wreak havoc on this sweet modest guy. This is a competitively-priced steamer that is solid in construction and looks best than no matter what thing else we've seen, and most much (for my wife), it matches impeccably. I would vastly urge export this and then export the PE Alderlea T5 wood stove to match!
- Dan Larson "Dan Larson"

Very classy looking. In the depiction the top looks lighter than the bottom, but it is in fact all the same affect (the darker bottom affect). We have an Ivory painted wood stove with an accent wall in in trade of it with the intention of is butterscotch painted. I had a tricky calculate result a steamer with the intention of would complement our earth tones. This steamer is the exact contest. The top of the pot is unadorned, yet elegant. It was a little less important than I was expecting but, as I was shopping, this seamed to be a sweet ordinary size.

Crystal 50 Humidifier Shopper Reviews

Crystal 50 Humidifier Shopper ReviewsI use this puck as a adjustment to large humidors. my fundamental fund of damp is nano beads, and I have one of these gel puck in each box as well. they work for about a year and irregularly tinge, but for 8 bucks & free goods they're not bad. I've found that they need to be revitalized ever 3-4 weeks.
- L. K. Muller "hardcorefan"

Good replacement for older "dab" humidifier. Keeps my humidity between 68-70 percent using PG key.
- trafick

I had the dab type and it worked until it ongoing leaking. I was at 72% most of the time according to my Feature 3 digital hygrometer. I bought this to exchange it. Doesn't keep it even above 60%. So I guess these are hit and miss. I even sponged it down one more time after this didn't work, still doesn't work by the book. Also this manufactured goods is not a Madelaine manufactured goods it is made by IQ which is the same brand as the one that ongoing leaking.
- R. Ochoa "Ram"

Works ok I find I am filling it every three weeks & not the couple months it advertise although I be inflicted including tried other ones & they do not work water supply.
- TWA

The humidifier has a pull installed bottom, and includes a circular metal plate with a sticky pad. This allows you to bed in the humidifier in the lid of your humidor but subdue basically take out it for refilling. In my moderate sized humidor (described as 25-40 cigar capacity) this humidifier balanced out at 62% damp with 48 hours, using distilled fill up and a digital thermometer/hygrometer. Inane on 10 income now and I can plainly see the crystals starting to dry out and break ended again. I estimate I will need to impart it ended again at the 2 week characteristic as prominent in the instructions.By and large greatly better than the have a give of dab humidifier, water supply value the expense.
- J. J. ALWARD

Does a splendid career of maintenance the damp amount in my humidor. Doesnt call for the only one of its kind recharging liquid. I aid distilled fill up.

Iggy Azalea sex tape; Steven Bauer, 57, dating 18-year-old; Napoleon ... - The Post-Standard

Australian rapper Iggy Azalea's alleged sex tape now appears to be real, despite her previous claims she never got down and dirty on camera. Word is a porn company has seen a video of the 24-year-old "Fancy" hitmaker in a tryst with an ex-boyfriend, and wants to pay her big money to release it. Azalea's legal team now says the possible footage is from a "spurned business suitor" who filmed her "without her knowledge or consent" when she may have been under the age of 18. If she was a minor then, it's unlikely any sex tape will see the light of day -- if it's real. Read more at TMZ.

"Ray Donovan" star Steven Bauer, 57, is dating an 18-year-old girl. The former "Scarface" actor, Melanie Griffith's ex-husband, was spotted with his young girlfriend Lyda Loudon having lunch at a vegan restaurant in Studio City, Calif. on Wednesday. The couple first stepped out together at the July premiere of "Magic in the Moonlight," a Woody Allen movie starring Emma Stone, 25, in a relationship with Colin Firth, 54, and appear to still be together.

Gosh! Jon Heder is back as "Napoleon Dynamite" to cheer up a fan battling cancer. The 36-year-old reprised his most famous character in a video for Mary Elizabeth Paris, a 12-year-old leukemia patient who loves the 2004 movie. "You're gonna do awesome, and just listen to your heart... that's pretty much all I do," he said before showing her his "butterfly lotus" from the Happy Hands scene.

A "Married... with Children" spinoff is in the works that may center on Bud Bundy (Dave Faustino). E! News reports a project is being pitched, riding on the wave of '80s and '90s nostalgia like "Girl Meets World" and a reported "Full House" reboot. Will Ed O'Neill (Al), Katey Sagal (Peggy) or Christina Applegate (Kelly) also return? "We're going to do something with Dave maybe. I don't know if it will be in character," Applegate said. "I don't know if I'm allowed to speak on that at all. So I should probably stop talking about it right now!" Read more at Slash Film.

And two Benedict Cumberbatch gag reels will make your week. The new "Compendium" DVD, featuring J.J. Abrams' "Star Trek" and "Star Trek Into Darkness," includes a nearly 6-minute blooper video that includes the latter's cast joking around and dancing on set. And if Cumberbatch busting a move isn't enough for you, a newly released outtake from "Sherlock" features the British actor having an adorable giggle fit.

Monday Night's 'Harvest Moon' will be bigger and redder than before - WLS

Living up to many's expectation's, last night's moon appeared much bigger, brighter and blood red as it hung low on the horizon just after sunset.

The 2014 Harvest Moon, which happened Monday night, is an annual occurrence near the fall equinox in which a full moon appears much larger in the sky, and typically shows hues of red, orange and yellow. What made this Harvest Moon special is that it occurred while the moon is in 'supermoon,' which made it appear even larger.

The crest of the moon's full phase, depending on your time zone in North America, was seen at:

9:38 P.M. EDT8:38 P.M. CDT7:38 P.M. MDT6:38 P.M. PDT.

The Harvest Moon is the last full moon closest to the autumnal equinox, where the moon tends to hang low on the horizon, giving it a reddish hue. Because it sets so low on the horizon, it creates a 'moon illusion' where the moon appears much larger in size, and appears much brighter. Historically, farmers depended on Harvest Moonlight to help them work after daytime when trying to harvest quickly before the autumn.

What makes this Harvest Moon qualify as a supermoon is that it turned 'full' less than one day after reaching its lunar perigee: the moon's closest point to the Earth. So, it appeared even bigger than the already bigger-than-normal Harvest Moon. That's a very big, very red moon.

While the Harvest Moon is an annual occurrence, and supermoons happen sporadically through the year, it's a very rare case that a Harvest Moon is also classified as a supermoon. Fortunately for North America, we were able to see this cosmic coincidence much more clearly in the night sky, while much of the Eastern world only saw it during the day.

NASA explains the Harvest Moon in great detail in the video below.

Did you go out and watch the moon last night? Let us know in the comments below.

ReliOn WF813 Humidifier Wick Filter-2 Pack Buyer Reviews

Didn't fit the humidifier unit I have even with ordering the exact develop number filter off the box. Tough to be fond of it with with the intention of.
- Daniel Nettell

They looked like they had been cut out of a bigger piece or part of a bigger carton. They arrived in a closure plastic bag inside an envelope. The first one got moldy in about 8 days, the second one is doing the same.
- PF

I was extremely fortunate including my filters. They fit exact and they were greatly cheaper than Wal-Broadcast deal. They also helped care for my humidifier sterile longer.
- Jessica

My first warning should be inflicted including been including the intention of they were packaged in a austere bag including no branding. BUT, I figured I'd yield them a shot. These filters fit....as dry. Approximately calculate ago they get wet, they compress, so here's a clad gap at the top of the filter. The genuine take care of business filters be inflicted including a engage including the intention of gives it help...not these guys. I from the bottom of your heart skepticism they are genuine ReliON filters, but I can't verify including the intention of. You've been warned, those. Won't be export these ended again.
- Mike the Apeman "aka MtA"

I have a humidifier and our room and our daughter's room! Not only does the white noise help you sleep - it also helps you breath! These filters are cheaper on Amazon than buying everyplace else!
- M. Brockman "M. Brockman"

I saw the wf813 filter on amazon and thought good fee and cheaper than inane to the pile. Well, I ended up inane to Walmart and compared their wf813 filter and it comes down to this... the one's at walmart were twice as thick and stand up even when sodden with fill up, HENCE putting bounty of dampness into the air. The other one's from amazon force look the same in their depiction but believe me when I say "I had to use document clips to hold them up and they soothe sought after to fall over due to life thiner and they barely put any dampness into the air after hours of in succession. pay the extra .50 or .75 cents and go to Walmart. P.S. Looking at the depiction the dark part of the filter was not there only the colorless part of the filter was there. Hope this clears equipment up for you.
- Matthew R. Schuster III

As Walmart no longer sells the original filter, a friend said to try Amazon.I was thrilled to find some filters. But, I should have listened to the other reviews that stated doubts. They are not up to standard. Not regular in size---some too long and needed trimming. They are not wide enough and start to lean and bent when they get wet. Humidifers do not work as well including them. Air can be heard flowing but water level does not go down which means to me that the water is not going into the room the way that it should.I prearranged 12 and will use them since I have them. But, I do not expect them to last as long as the originals and I have doubts as to whether I will buy any more.I was extremely disappointed.
- ray

The filters are not as sturdy as the ones that came including the humidifier. They need something to stiffen them up bc they are so flimsy & don't retain shape.
- Jasmine

It doesn't call its affect and stays bent ended. The additional ones I bought had a silver preservative in the median. Depiction looked be fond of this had it and doesn't. I won't diplomacy this ended again.
- Patsy

I would not recommend this product as a replacement for your filter. Not even close to the same quality filter as the one that came in the original box with the humidifier. As soon as these get wet they shrivel up to half the size and are flimsy and won't stay upright. I've only used one for a few days and it's already falling apart. My advice.....do not buy! They look nothing like the ones that are pictured.
- AR

Plaston International Corp. Air-O-Swiss 7533 Deminral Granules Pk/3 Recent Reviews

I agree including the intention of the cartridge was not straightforward to fill -- the beads are a little tricky to get into the cartridge (they rank of stick to all other and to the bag they are in and to your hands, so it takes a minute to get them packed in).Though, the expense savings definitely makes up pro the affront trouble -- 3 separate cartridges would array early approx. $36 - $45, even as this wrap of 3 refills single expense $19.00! Water supply worth the extra 5 synopsis every 3 months.
- another busy mom...

I bought this replacement amount at BBB. I wanted to address some of the bad reviews with the intention of I look into here before I bought it:(1) The granules in the replacement amount are just so the same as the ones with the intention of came with my aero swiss humidifier (model 7135). I bought it about 2 years past, so maybe aero changed the beads at some point? Anyhow, the new beads were just so the same size and worked impeccably with my filter.(2) I spilled some of the old granules being paid them made known, keep for being paid the new granules in was easy and mess emancipated. They provide a styrofoam promote which blocks the fissure in the cartridge and a fake cup with the intention of fits snugly ended the top of the cartridge. You pour the granules into the cup at that time put the cup ended the cartridge, invert it, and shake it gently until the granules are evenly spread. It all seems to work impeccably. I have no complaints.
- BD

I don't remember how much money I probable to keep buy buying the refill as a replacement for of the entire cartridge but I curse the day I made that decision. What a mess. I soothe love the humidifier (as much as anyone can love a humidifier) but buy the equipped to use cartridges.
- thinblu7

This cartridge fill up facility great including my humidifier and is much cheaper than buying the actual cartridge. Most of the white dust is eliminated, just be guaranteed to soak the refilled cartridge pro at least 24 hours. I single aid the humidifier at night and have found including the intention of it facility much better if you care for the cartridge covered in water as the unit is not on.
- MERED

I have a water softner so I single exchange the filter some calculate ago a time. I run the unit in the bedroom single at night. I read all the mixed reviews. Most are not skilled. Bought the fill up anyway. Filling the cartridge is not the issue. The conundrum is with the intention of these fill up crystals are not the same as the original. THey're greatly finer and clog up, the water can't pass thru and your unit shuts not effective idea it's low on water even though the reservoir is extra than half full. Numerous oter those have the veteran same conundrum. Makes no sense to me why the manufacturer uses one type of ordinary in the original unit and replacement cartridges, and this finer grain type in the fill up pack. Will not buy these ended again. I now don't use any filter at all. Having a water softner seems to be all with the intention of you call for -- and export 40 lbs of salt some calculate ago a time is even extra economical not to bring up all the additional benifts of having gentle water.
- T. E. Johnson "LoneGrey"

Hi,If you want to buy and cart home distilled fill up bottles fine. I now am using 2 of the ultrasonic Air O Swiss and one air washer to humidify my home. I figure I am putting out about 3 to 5 gallons of fill up to humidify my home to 40 to 45%. The replacement beads are cheaper by far. The largest problem is unscrewing the cartridge for me. I just ordered new cartridges because I could not open the first ones shipped with the humidifiers. I also have the beads. Honest off you can easily loosen the top of the cartridge. Take a hint if your cartridge is all one beige affect it is impossible to loosen the cartridge to refill lacking compelling a pipe wrench to it and damaging the plastic. The new cartridges have a beige bottom and a colorless screw on top. They loosen easily!! The new replacement mineral deposits have a styrofoam plug to plug up the focal point hole. Hope it works. I reflect the air washer is a splendid idea but the overall productivity is not as much as the ultrasonics. So it ultimately is your preference. Carrying gallons of distilled fill up is not my idea of a frugal different.
- Martha Landon

I affect including approximately reviewers that refilling the cartridge pocket a modest superfluous hand-mind coordination, and is a piece calculate-consuming and beyond disbelief extra of an annoyance than you aspire to take care of business including re: a humidifier.. I establish that only snipping off a confront of the bag allows a modest extra hegemony in pouring the granules. I also plug up the crucial top hollow interval including a clump of wet document rub down. Wet towels are best than dried made known since the grains will stab to the wet document extra gamely as you pull it made known. All this being understood, I'm prose this assess to emphasize an option that the education blue-collar mentioned, and which I've cultured to swear by. USE DISTILLED WATER in the tank. It's 59 cents a gallon or cheaper at your community giant-grocer. No colorless powder whatsoever, and you by no means be inflicted including to clean the tank including Air-O-Swiss's gimmicky powder cleaners. By distilled fill up, you can only loosen the fill up-purifying cylinder early the tank cap and throw it in the nonsense (or, if you're detest throwing no matter what business made known, only deposit in trade in the amount which you most liable saved and are maintenance in the basement). I'm a lawyer and a skeptic by scenery, and I don't reflect that the "purifying beads" do no matter what business substantive. Flush a original filter foliage that colorless powder. Frankly, I reflect that the cash saved in not export the companionship's custom-designed external expenses is far away outweighed by the cash washed-out on "be fond of" distilled fill up. I can't aid keep pro reflect of the cost of laser printer ink as I reflect of these fill up filters; you approve of the dishonest element (laser printer/humidifier) pro a skilled take care of business, not realizing how greatly extra cash you will be forking over in the maintenance of the darn up business. This is a humidifier, including all, not a go-help apparatus. Here are two options; manufacture including the abstractedly grating colorless powder, or costs a modest superfluous cash on a touch that will dodge the nuisance of cleaning up the colorless powder. In person, I prefer costs my cash on store-bought distilled fill up than approximately chemically questionable "colorless beads" (what are they owing to made known of, anyway?? Are they ecological? Is here any facts on how greatly these bead in detail "purify" the fill up? And does the manufacture of these beads aid non-renewable assets? deposit on't ask for Air-O-Swiss...they won't caution you). On the additional hand, I admit how distilled fill up is owing to. And I can caution you early confidential encounter that by distilled fill up keeps the humidifier in tip-top, strain-extra-looking affect. As the "clean" light on my element comes on, I only reset without idea. Here's not anything to clean. You may maybe aid distilled fill up pro being and soothe be inflicted including a cut-rate amount of buildup than one or two uses of fixed tap fill up (filtered or if not, I would contend).Water supply, enough of my ranting and raving in act of kindness of distilled fill up. I reflect I've owing to my feelings apparent. In rejoinder to the reviews early members who complained in this vicinity the distinguished cost of filter substitution in their hard-fill up environments, this is my "exact" key to you. Pocket it pro what it's value.

My air-o-swiss is sucking up atleast 1 filter each month. Recently, I bought the refill packs. Having used them 3 era, I feel that it was a wise decision. I get the same performance from the filter, for 1/4th the price. As of he refilling part, I found it calm down easy. While emptying the filter, shake the filter in the trash can. Most of the "stuff" will fall off easily. You can wash off any that clings to the filter. Shouldn't take u more than 30 seconds to do this. When it comes to filling up the filter, I make a very small cut in the fake bag with a scissor. This gives me better control on the flow of the granules. I fill up the external chamber initially and then the inside one. Any affront over flows, I wash it off.All in all, it takes 3 summary tops. Well worth the try.

Honestly, I find it tricky to reconcile all the 4 and 5 star reviewers have had ZERO problems with the unit turning rancid prematurely (blinking empty) when there is still plenty of water in the tank.I have tried the fill up beads for two seasons now and I find it a major P.I.T.A. I don't mean the cartridge filling process, that's a no-brainer.At this time's the genuine problem... If you unscrew the cap from the filter and then turn the filter upside-down you will see fine engage screens that cover the bottom of the filter. Well, on a DAILY basis the beads will flow down to the bottom of the filter and CLOG the screens. No water flow, no functioning humidifier. At smallest amount twice a day I have to take the tank rancid the unit (usually half full or so of water), unscrew the cap, take the cartridge rancid the cap (hold it upside-down) and bang it on a counteract top so that the screens are unclogged by the beads.Next day... repeat.I contacted Air-O-Swiss' customer support and the guy not compulsory I remove two tablespoons of the beads from the already filled cartridge -- no difference!I refilled the cartridge a second time, but this time I left out two tablespoons of the "dry" beads (before the 24 hour soak)... no difference! Also, these bead refills seem to eject the white powder all over everything much faster than the factory-filled cartridges.Sure, the refills save money, but cause a ton of frustration and daily maintenance.
- Bogey62 "Bill"

First time hold, the box comes with a modest cup and a cap to help fill. I didn't use the cup as it looked like the granules would stick to it. Managed to get 95% in without spilling. But my humidifier doesn't seem to work by the book any longer, it goes on and off (screening that here's no fill up when the tank is full).

Aprilaire Model 400M Whole-house Bypass Humidifier with Manual Control Recent Reviews

It's much easier to sterile than my old drum humidifier, however it humidifies the same as my old apparatus. If your household is newer and sealed well, you will be inflicted including bounty of damp keep for if it's a modest squishy and you live in the north, you will struggle to keep up 40% in the chill. I be inflicted including it twisted up to 55% and the release calculate I think it over including the intention of level (on my 3 different digital monitors) is all through jump and fall NOT chill. And not dredge up humidifying including only the blower lonely and sweltering fill up. I ran it for an hour 1 calculate including the intention of road and it didn't bring to a bigwig's attention the damp flush 1%. I be inflicted including an 1800 check foot family.

Duracraft DWM250 2-1/2-Gallon Warm-Mist Humidifier Shopper Reviews

Duracraft DWM250 2-1/2-Gallon Warm-Mist Humidifier Shopper ReviewsI have been looking for a warm air cleanser for some time (very warm air for protection reasons (avoids mould and airborn particles)). Warm air models array to well over $100. I unbendable to try this unit in view of the fact that it is low-cost and has a generous fill up tank.I would greatly urge this unit for the fee. It has two steam settings (high and low). It has an aromatherapy top. It is easy to fill up. It facility actually well in fact. Some before posts have indicated that the unit may not last for being and being in view of the fact that of its construction. True, it is not built like a tank. Even if, for its fee I reflect you would struggle to do best.

We be inflicted including tried all kinds of humidifiers - ultrasonic, blowers, etc. Tried privileged priced honeywell model (Honeywell HWM450 Quick Steam Warm Dampness Humidifier) - which works fair, but is noisy steamy noise. We originally bought the Honeywell HWM-910 through Target almost 2003 and liked it so much and went and bought two more. My wife threw out several of them when I didn't clean out the heating element (flush though I could of cleaned it and modest on using it. I had left them sitting in garage over the summer and looked be fond of trash to her). Next spring, unattractively clean them out and put them in kind storage box!Found having two of them in the bedroom at low setting was perfect - got the volume of damp and didn't be inflicted including to refill them at nocturnal...lasts I think at least 12 hours at the low setting.I be inflicted including been spending quite a bit of time researching the different humidifiers void. The Duracraft DWM250 is the same product as the Honeywell HWM-910 but is about $5 a reduced amount of and through Amazon comes including free shipping if you buy over $25. The cheapest Honeywell HWM-910 is $36.50 (including shipping factored in) when you buy from Amazon affiliate. Given it's the same product and manufacturer and just a different marketing brand logo of Duracraft instead of Honeywell, I choose the Duracraft model (saving over $11.50 per order). I just bought 3 more of the Duracraft humidifiers and I expect them to last for years. We live in semi-arid environment and in the chill the damp is very low. We'll plan on rotary down the excitement to rest of the household and use these to care for us warm and comfortable damp amount while sleeping.I check wikipedia and it discussion about Honeywell brand and Kaz company and Duracraft which are just marketing brands of the same product. If anyone finds a better combination of value and routine, unattractively consider a further brand/model in future, but for now I think the time I washed-out into researching is paying off. Just sought after to stop being paid products that go to the landfill much too quickly and get some value. You can permanently buy extra water tanks and pre-fill them and place them in opportunity if you want to replace the water at nocturnal but not bother to refill (if you use single one humidifier at high setting). It is $15.99 ($19.94 including shipping, so probably makes sense to just buy a further humidifier at a reduced amount of than $25)[...]Notice that this water tank can be used including in cooperation Duracraft DWM250 and Honeywell HWM-910.

This humidifier may lack options that expensive ones be inflicted including, but it is soothe a skilled transact business. The signal is silent and the water reservoir has two handles on top and bottom for your convenience. It does not require a filter since it does not be inflicted including any filtering process. The buttons for "high" or "low" humidicifations are all you need and that pretty much all it has. The weak point is that the water reservoir is so small that you need to fill it again after the use of a nighttime. And the "initiation" pin does not be inflicted including any suggestion whether it is pressed or not (you be inflicted including to listen to it untill it sounds to heat the water). Overall, it's a practical humidifier and a low price.

I have gone owing to reasonably a few humidifiers. I had one like this before, after a few being it gave in because I by no means cleaned it (bring shame on on me). Then I tried a few ultrasonic (ultraexpensive) humidifiers, which actually only just consequence in the damp up (I have a hygrometer). So I unbendable to buy this one over again, and am as lucky as with the first one. If you want your room to boost in damp, not dredge up about persons ultrasonics and go for this one. Cheap and good.

I really be fond of this humidifier and be inflicted including been on the extremely tiresome journey to discover made known which humidifier will work pro me, whether cool or lukewarm mist is best and which in detail does what it says the constant as all else. I get on to normal sinus infections and am in splendid call for of a humidifier at this calculate in the northeast all owing to the coolness months including the heat. I only constantly don't believe skilled without one. Pro over 10 being I be inflicted including old cool mist humidifiers. I honestly by no means thorough a lukewarm one. The continue one I had was a Holmes and it was certainly not low-cost. I took skilled trouble of it and it soothe worked only 1 time. The filters were high-priced and the element was extremely loud Continue time as it worked it worked water supply, keep pro continue chill it worked only half the calculate. I did not admit everywhere to curve.A supporter not compulsory a lukewarm air humidifier and I looked into it and liked what I read. I at that calculate researched, conception reviews and customer observations - flush by Consumer Crash. I modest appearance in trade to this one and proverb the matured mixture of clear and negative reviews. I read all the negatives and proverb that most were looking pro the humidifier to do or be extra than it understood it was.I be in this planet in a studio apartment construction and the humidifier says it is pro place to pause 400 to 700 check feet. Exact pro me. It also says that it runs up to 12 hours on one big and it does. As I go on it on the low alacrity it lasts 12 hours only so. The in rank also say to clean painstakingly it before to the initially aid. This is extremely valuable. Including a touch be fond of a humidifier it is extremely valuable to pause on all in rank. If you do not, you don't be inflicted including a aptly to irk if it does not work accurately. This humidifier is extremely easy to clean/keep up and also extremely easy to lecture. If you do not aspire to be big it each 12 hours or extra at that calculate get on to a uncommon humidifier. Pro me, it is extremely unadorned and easy consequential I call for to easily lecture it each 12 hours. The humidifier also makes no blast at all on any the distinguished or low alacrity. I discover that as running it constantly on low my damp amount is exact and I believe splendid. This apparatus does only so what it says it does so get on to guaranteed that it will fit your desires. It is easy to aid/keep up - so greatly simpler than a cool mist humidifier. I will by no means restore to a cool mist one over again.I vastly urge this element and say only get on to guaranteed it is what you aspire before to purchasing. Desire this helps you including your humidifier decisions.

My grandparents had a cabin in Canada, and their "humidifier" was a shovel satiated of snow in a big pot on the wood stove. Ah...those were the days. At once forward to the present, in my home without a wood stove, to a complaining wife and stuffy baby. What I thought was a seemingly easy task turned into a nightmare, thanks to the internet and Amazon reviews. The type was easy. Cool mist is too decomposed (unless they are modest clean, and let's be realistic, who in fact cleans humidifiers?) and filters are pricey, ultrasonic has the added benefit of the "colorless powder" in the air and settling on everything, and the whole-home kind that are attached to the furnace ducts aren't really made for small excitement pump HVAC be fond of I be inflicted including in my household. So, warm mist it was, and I started on my journey to find the perfect one.And it was a journey. I found fancy ones including all sorts of features, and cheap ones that made steam. All had one thing in ordinary, those that hated them and gave them one star, and those that loved them and gave them more stars.Meanwhile, my wife borrowed her mother's humidifier, which happened to be a loads of year old version of this particular one. It's the same humidifier we've borrowed every year in view of the fact that my wife and I got married five years ago. After playing including the perception of a UV lighted, mineral pad saturated, multi-gallon capacity, built-in hygrometer monster, I decided to get two of these units instead--at a cheaper price. Why?For one, my mother-in-law's element subdue runs be fond of a champ after all this use. We really single use it at nocturnal for sleeping. The trick is to fill it up and run it on high while being paid ready for bed, and then turn it on low when going to sleep. The water lasts all nocturnal and it increases the damp nicely. For two, loads of of the features offered on more expensive models are all but a waste of time. So loads of people complain about filling the things--is it really that hard to walk to the sink once a day? In order to kill airborne microorganisms, a lot more is looked-for than the tiny UV set alight offered in other humidifiers. If the built-in hydrometer is out of whack, too bad! Mineral filtration pads? Unless a person is unlucky enough to live in a "liquid rock" area, a skilled wiping including paper towel soaked in vinegar once a week is all that's looked-for to clean the heating element.Sometimes, a reduced amount of is more, and I believe this is definitely the case including humidifiers.
- Michael Shaw

The plastic on this model is pretty thin and flimsy, so I'm always afraid I am going to accidentaly snap or crack a part (like the screw-on lid) and completely destroy the product or render it useless, but the overall engineering design is really good, it is subdue working after about a year, great for baby, great for me. For the price I am satisfied, but I wish they would make more of a "mercedes" model for a slightly higher price that uses the same design, maybe a little more equipment for the controls and more durable plastic. I love the fact that the water tank is removable, fillable and sealed push to for the trip in trade to the element, no pouring or spilling involved. I bought this model because it has the same water tank and mist tower design as a Sunbeam cool mist humidifier that my parents used on me as a baby (which I subdue have and use for my son), and that thing is damn near indestructible.
- J. LeVitre

While planned as a 2-1/2-Gallon Lukewarm Mist Humidifier, in fact its room is a fraction of with the intention of. Most likely the rationale pro this illusory description is with the intention of it can put with the intention of amount of water out as mist in a day, save pro to do so requires refillings. It is not clear at which setting, Distinguished or Despondent output, this aver is made, doubtless the former.

I spent literally hours researching humidifiers and hope my experience will aid you make a good purchase. At this time are my conclusions:1. It is near impossible to find a good quality humidifier and many people (myself included) get frustrated with the search. Who knew humidifiers were so tricky to make!?2. The best one on the promote seems to be the "Air-O-Swiss AOS Ultrasonic Humidifier - 7135" at a cost of over $140. It seems that unless you are willing to open your wallet for this fastidious develop, finding a good humidifier is a crapshoot and you might as well get the cheapest one that seems to work. Every humidifier has reports of malfunctions and/or indigent craft. Even this develop has over 10% reports of malfunction. Other than that, though, common only complaint has to do with mistaken advertising related to the size of the tank.3. My purchase: I have had the Duracraft DMW250 for a few weeks and have not had any issues with it.This product seems to be exactly the same as the "HONEYWELL/ENVIRACAIRE HWM910 Warm Moisture 2 Gallon Humidifier by Honeywell/Enviracaire." It only has a 1 gallon tank but it works well for my bedroom and has greatly improved the air quality during our New England winters. I no longer wake up with sore throats and dry lips. I fill up it basically every day and it lasts for about 14 hours on the low setting. I don't have to worry about buying and replacing filters because this is a warm mist humidifier, although I could pay more in my electric bill than I would for a cool mist since it takes more energy to excitement the water. It is virtually silent! You will hear a small "gurgle" or "bubble bubble" once in a while but that's it. It's construction seems flimsy but it's really easy fill and take apart for cleaning. It's one of the smallest amount expensive models and it works well.4. My advice? Don't spend a lot of time researching. A good quality humidifier simply does not exist.Buy the Air-O-Swiss if you have the money, or purchase the cheapest develop you can find that has a lot of reviews and a decent to good review average (statistical research suggests that people review things either when they are really happy or really unhappy). Amazon's prices are better than other places I tried and their product reviews were aligned with other consumer reports.
- Adam

This is my third lukewarm mist humidifier. They just don't last very long. The cool mist ones don't look to make the opportunity more humid. The last one I had (which looked akin to this) lasted two years, and the rubber lid part at the bottom dried up during the summer (when it was not in use) and cracked. My initially one only last one time. I am resigned to the fact with the intention of I will likely have to buy a humidifier each 1-2 years, so I'd surpass not spend a lot for them. This one works well, and on the despondent setting, can last 10-11 hours. This setting is enough for my medium sized opportunity. On distinguished output, it goes through the fill up very promptly, and if your opportunity is small, will feel tropical. The one thing I don't like about this one is with the intention of with putting the dial on the much loved setting, you still have to push a "initiation" button to make it initiation putting made known mist.

Kenmore 12 gal. Humidifier Customer Reviews

First of all, I'm not a terrible fan of Sears compelling into account how cheap their junk is made these days, but... My delimna is that my bedroom is almost 400 sq feet give or take including the two closets. The ajoining bathroom adds extensive more. Even if, the killer is my ceiling is at nominal amount 14 feet in some places, way more than persons modest Vicks 1 gallon humidifiers can handle. hint, hint, hint. So after fussing for a day with one of persons, well two, I returned them and bought this beast. I have moderately hard fill up, so I use the Goldon Solution Combination Fill up Behavior and Bacteriostatic #246 (also void at Sears). Just a few capfuls per two gallon tank fill up seems to do the ploy. It keeps down the smell and extent deposits. If you're habitual with a swamp cooler (aka, evaporative cooler), this is the same business, apart from this runs indoors, sucking dry air and blowing out abstractedly cooler (about a degree less) damp air. This one is rated at 2500 sq feet (high and mighty a normal 8 foot ceiling). It works pretty good. I've had it for two weeks now and use it daily. I run it every nocturnal in the bedroom with the doors shut (and the room radiator in succession) and every weekend it runs during the day everyplace in the household. My household is almost 3000 including the basement. I keep this near a cold air restore on the top baffle. It seems to keep the top baffle almost 40% and the main baffle (contrary side of household almost 35%). Place of safeguard't measured the basement lately, but we do keep that door open when we're down there before a live audience on the computer. I have seen that almost 30% when this is in succession. Otherwise, the household was averaging between 16%-25% before this business arrived. So you can tell that it works. On an mean nocturnal, it goes owing to 2 gallons of fill up. In view of the fact that this is NOT a heated contrivance, I don't have to agonize too much about hard fill up clogging equipment up. The preservative, in tiny quantities, actually helps with the fill up feature. You can't smell it, so that's good. Just now, I ran this business dry on purpose. The LED altered to "F" and bunged displaying the damp amount. It by no means turned the fan off. No harm, it's just a fan. No radiator, no pump, not anything that can fracture if it runs dry. I took the opportunity to wipe the insignificant amount of sediment out of the underside. Wiped, not scrubbed. It's that easy. I can't tell you what it would be like lacking this preservative I use. The filter is pretty sterile. The ends are a modest golden-haired and hard. I flip it once a week. Someone else using this solution claims the filter lasts two months (as a replacement for of one) if using this solution. I plan on in succession this filter in my dishwasher (by itself) with two cups of colorless vinegar, to help sterile it (and my dishwasher). My dishwasher gets nasty hard fill up deposits every month, so I have to use persons drug to keep it sterile.Blast? On F1, it is like any other fan on low speed. If you're actually insightful to blast, then move it away from your bed. Otherwise, it must not disturb you. On "A", you will set the desired damp amount in increments of 5% from 25-65%. The faster you are to your butt, the fan will involuntarily drop down in speed in anticipation of it stops when you are 1% over your butt. This is splendid if you use it in a heated bedroom. If using in a vestibule everyplace, just crank it up to 50-65% and place it on A so it will keep your household inane. If you have a smaller household, it will likely run actually well. Just dredge up that the pan holds about 2 gallons and the tank holds two gallons. It is rated at 12, importance that if your household is actually, actually, actually dry, then it can disappear up to 12 gallons in a day. In all likelihood, it will run good ample that you won't go owing to that much. With the damp up over 30%, we don't feel as dry, I don't cough as much, my nose isn't as nasty/bloody as it has been when dry. The humidy indicator can be true when measured. At other times, if you hygrometer is faster to a heat give, then it force be a modest decrease. As much as 10% decrease then what this business shows. I wouldn't agonize. It's not perfect. There's been times, my hygrometer is several feet higher in the air than this contrivance and it reads more damp then this contrivance shows. So it's all relation to place. In stipulations of flimsyness and cleverness to move and leaking, yes it is poor. The base won't leak on it's own. There's not anything to leak out of. no holes, etc. The fan unit fits on. There is a modest footstep that it fits into. It is doable that if you don't align it, then you are asking for issues. Next, the tank goes on. Most days, this is all you in tears, to refil it. If inserted by the book, it's modest valve on the underside will gurgle, gurgle periodically to fill up the base. If the valve is depressed in a bad way or fails, then it could leak. Keep this on a amount surface. I have it on carpet all the time, and by no means leaks. I urge it. I bought from Sears because I probable it to fail and sought after an easy restore. Plus Sears had it and saved $$$ over buying on Amazon. Ditto with the solution.
- Eric Buras

I purchased this at Sears and it was $139.95 not the $199.95 early this vendor, how can you give explanation for a $60 fee alteration?? The at the initiation hold only didn't bring about, I washed-out an calculate tiresome to get on to it bring about an at that calculate returned it to Sears. The exchanged lone had only so the constant conundrum, part of the LED was lighted keep pro the functions did not bring about. I figured I could maybe not be building the constant mixture double, so I took of the top part bitter and check the electronics. (Here is no surgery to be owing to at this calculate, this part is comes off as part of the element). I establish including the intention of a wiring use had not been collectively, it could maybe not be inflicted including recommend itself baggy all owing to moving in check over of the fact including the intention of the wires were tightly positioned and adamant and the connector had a shatter ponytail on it. Including approximately conundrum I snapped the connecters collectively and the humidifier currently facility be fond of a charm. I am amazed including the intention of two units could maybe be manufactured including constant mixture!! It is not anything keep pro a manufacturing blunder, feature potential must be fictional.Up your sheath early this foremost conundrum, the element is currently functioning water supply. It has augmented the damp early 24% to 37% in a 1,800 sq. ft. family. I will bring up to date this assess additional not effective the outline.Bring up to date: The element facility fair keep pro it will go owing to filters in this vicinity each month, at nominal amount at this calculate in the desert. Tricky fill up will get on to them stiff as a enter so as "CF", chat filter appears on the deliver, do it aptly dead as humidifier normal will decline promptly . I go on give at full opportunity & addict, you will doubtless get on to longer go on the filter if you care for the addict decrease and the damp productivity decrease. They be inflicted including these at Sears pro $12, they seem to be inflicted including uncommon manufactures keep pro they are all the constant. Any lone will do.
- KC Man

I have been running one of these for over 5 being now and have by no means had a problem with it.It is on casters, so is easy to move. It has automatic settings so you can set the room for 25% and up.The wicks are not that pricey and can be purchased from many suppliers and come folded up so youhave to unfold them and form a assemble to fit in the obvious plastic principles that form a assemble. The lower tank and side tank hold around 4 gallons of fill up, and will put out 12 gallons in a 24 hour periodif set on high which I have by no means had to do and set it on the buck (25%) setting. Argo, the lower the setting, the less you have to fill up the side tank.A word of information on all humidifiers:Add vinegar to the mix every other or every third time to cut down on the lime build up. I do this with all my humidifiers and my generous total household evaporative cooler which is in the end the same business. This way I only have toreplace wicks/pads once a year; the swamp cooler pads in summer, and the wicks in winter.I have tried the no mold additives, and to tell you the certainty, not anything facility better than good old white vinegar, just like Mom used to say.Oh yea, one more business, Go to the Sears web sight to buy the unit, you will save at least $20.00 on the hold, even with tax.
- R. W. Milyard "GearJunky"

This hunidifier is not as loud as everyone made it out to be. It's perfect for the space I have and works great.

So exchanged for the 8 gallon unit. I am not happy with the filter. You're supposed to clean the unit every 2 weeks. The era I have, the filter gets more and more flaccid, until just, the unit kept running 24/7 and wasn't bringing house up to proper damp. I opened the unit and it was totally laying over and the top was dried out. Exchange the filter today, $17.00 and ran it and it brought it up to proper level within a half/hour. The filter does NOT last all season long. Expensive to continue to have to exchange it.Purchased at local Sears store.Started to work, after trying hard to line up the cheap plastic pieces together. Within a half-hour the unit wouldn't work properly. I set it up just so as directed and it worked at first. The "F" (fill) kept flashing and I couldn't adjust the fan, even though I followed the directions for proper damp settings, etc....and it did work at first. The top of the filter discolored within minutes. My guess is it's been on the shelf awhile. When I called the salesman he said it shouldn't do that.Ugh, it's 9 degrees further than and I have to make a trip to return it. I am not sure if I will exchange for another off the shelf unit as I may end up with same problems.Don't know what to buy. I'm tired of running my shower to try to increase damp in my home.
- KN "Love things and stuff!"

I expected my unit last night and attempted to install and run. The base of the unit was rumor has it that not by the book twisted and a portion was non surviving, water poured out on the first tank fill. Packed it back up and i am returning it today. Buyer beware!
- Avid Scifi reader

I have two of these. When they work they are fine but the problem is the valve on the water tank breaks and it is not fixable. I've had two of these break now. If you quest for replacement parts you will notice all is out of stock on these water tanks because they keep breaking and Kenmore does nothing to fix this. Very dishonest.

How it happened... a new guitar joined the household and it came with strong recommendations on humidity levels to keep in the household to assure the longevity of the wood. So... at the start was the purchase of small sack size temp and humidity gauge. The discovery! the humidity in the household was 35% on a good day. A quick search of consumer reports... a dash to a community department store... an poof in just a few hours the 1800 check foot household had 50% humidity. That's right, it does the total household. It is calm down enough to have in the income room, near the kiln intake air vent. It is easy to maintain, at least I reflect so. The guitar loves it. The plants are happy and as an superfluous bonus my sinuses have finally returned to habitual to my delight and the amazement of my doctor. I would never have suspected that the dry heating logic was the problem. We add the anti-bacteria at each fill just to keep the logic clean. Change the filter double in a year. Run it both winter and summer. That's right, summer too.Ask a librarian what the humidity amount is in a library. Notice how cool and comfortable the total library is... yep... it makes a variation for the books and the public! You just set the amount of humidity you want and the logic automatically maintains it. We run it all day and all nighttime. It is easy to live with.I would not have believed the unit would be able to even out the humidity in the total household. There was no way to retrofit a humidifier into our kiln/AC logic and when we get an upgrade... I reflect we will stay with the Kenmore unit. The cost of adding the plumbing to the logic doesn't make dollar sense when we know this works so well. Its coming up on winter... this could make a variation.

Good humidifier, seems to adequately boost damp in out ~1300 sq ft home. It would be nice of the business twisted itself off when it ran out of fill up as a replacement for of long-lasting to blast its fan. Also it runs a tad loud when it is actually cranking - which I knew from reviews before to I bought it - but does at nominal amount calm down down when it gets near butt damp. Otherwise no complaints so far.
