I purchased this for my Holmes Humidifier including the hopes it would help me clean the element less often and proffer the life of my filter. After using it for a couple months I can say it did just that! It seem to work better than other similar products I used and I noticed less build up on my tanks and filter when I cleaned the element. I am extremely pleased and will purchase again.

When by this manufactured goods. the humidifier wick seems to last in this area 30 days. When not by the manufactured goods it seems the wick last in this area 10 days less before to needing to be replaced.

I am pleasurable that I in detail purchased 3 bottles of these - two pro for myself and one pro a supporter. It really DOES aid protect the bateria early on the increase and I old the manufactured goods including each tank full that was replaced. Vastly not compulsory manufactured goods!

This fill up treatment for humidifiers is called fair Solution, and I have been using it in my Vornado 4.2 gal. humidifier each winter in view of the fact that 2005. Just one ounce per two gallons of fill up keeps mineral deposits from forming on the fill up tanks and wicks. Two gallons of fair Solution last one winter in my apartment building. The wicks last two months instead of one, due to the use of the fair Solution.

This seems to be a fine product with the intention of keeps our humidifier emancipated from crud.My only complaint has nothing to with the product, keep for the fact with the intention of the peddler charges $9.52 to ship a bottle of it! It's still about the same fee as others, keep for I somehow doubt with the intention of it actually expenditure anywhere near $10 to ship this. I tried buying 2 bottles and the shipping for with the intention of "falls" to $13.xx, so I estimate you keep a touch there.I'm going to reflect it over if I can find a touch locally and compare prices.UPDATE:Found this product from same mfgr here on Amazon:BestAir 3BT-6 Original BT Humidifier Bacteriostatic Fill up Treatment 32 oz.2 quarts come made known to about $1.50 cheaper--if you're a Fill in limb. I've used both this and the reviewed product in the humidfier and they both look to work fine. The 3BT-6 is explicitly labeled as for humidifiers.

I have been using this product on a humidifier that works 24/7 and it has been the only product (so far) that has kept the hard fill up build up on the filter to a smallest. I used to exchange the filter every 30 days, now I do so every 60 days.

Last chill I bought bacteriostat early Holmes. This container is easier to pour and is narrow, so it is straightforward to discover a place pro it on the ridge.
