I'm very happy with everything about this humidifier and would recommend it to anyone. Because of arthritis and tremor in my hands, I needed one I could possibly just pour fill up into. I use it everyday.

I have had the Honeywell HCM-710 for a year. We love it! We have had numerous humidifiers over the years and this one is the easier to keep clean. You can factually put the whole water tank in the dishwasher! There are holes in the back which have been criticized in a assess, but these allow air flow for this "evaporative" humidifier to work. Since you can pour water frankly into the top (lacking removing no matter what thing) you must haven't to worry about the holes except you don't pay concentration to the lighted fill gauge. On high the fan is a modest noisy, but it's white noise...now and again annoying with TV surveillance, but we think it's nice for sleeping. I ordinarily flip the filter every few days to keep both edges of the wick wet. (Don't let the filter get dried out or the unit won't work fruitfully.)

I've been using the Honeywell Cool Mist for several weeks. It works great. Hums along on high about be fond of a bathroom fan. I really be fond of the convenience of using tap water, and not having to disassemble it when I fill it. It's easy to overlook regularly cleaning it, but beware, the filter gets very grungy after a month's use. You risk cultivating your own bacterial soup and blowing it out in your opportunity if you fail to care for it clean. The anti-bacterial inserts might aid, I didn't get one. Buy a bunch of filters so you can change them at least monthly.

I be in this planet in a small one bedroom apartment. During the winter months I go on this humidifier 100% of the time, on the low (calm down) fan speed setting. I do this as preventative maintenance for chapped lips and hands. I've leisurely changes of between 10 and 20% in damp using a digital hygrometer. This humidifier requires fixed wick replacement at $13 a pop, as water supply as weekly cleaning to prevent it starting smelling be fond of a shoe. After 5 months of aid, and maintenance, I am still pleased with my purchase. Chapped lips and hands are a thing of the past!PROS- Straightforward Fill up- Calm down- Prevents chapped lips and hands- Dependable (unadorned top/few moving parts)- Evaporation (impossible to over-oversupply)- Commanding (10-20% more damp in small one bedroom apartment)- 36 hours between refills- In detail filters a little dust out of the air in addendum to humidifyingCONS- Unremitting Wick Replacement (every 2 months/$13 a pop)- Weekly cleaning/maintenance- Not 100% silent (you'll want an ultrasonic humidifier)- Shoe smell if not maintained

I bought this humidifier from Sears to use in my bedroom with being paid tired of big the total household humidifier.I can tell the variation as to whether I use it or not. Definitely, it does add fill up to the air. It puts about 2 quarts of fill up into the air overnight, and then you can fill up it and run it during the day if you want. Without it, I tend to get a dry throat and wake for myself coughing. Maybe other brands do better. This one was adequate for what I looked-for.

If it weren't such a hassle, this would have been returned. As it is, it now rests in its box inthe basement, therre to pass the time even as we use tthe $24.00 humidifier we bought at the grocery pile, which facility only fair. The Honeywell did not put out any dampness at all.

My member of the clergy has essential quiver and this humidifier makes it straightforward for him to fill. He is extremely fortunate including this gift.

The only good thing about this is that it is easy to fill.Had a lukewarm mist humidifier last year that i didn't bother to clean or maintain so tried this one since you mainly just have to replace a filter. That worked great and got the damp up to the 40% range easily and was very calm down. This one struggles to reach 37% with leave-compelling it on high all day long and is loud. Leave-compelling it on the low setting to sleep does not properly dampen the opportunity. Falls below 30% approximately nights as the excitement kicks in more often.Do not recommend unless you are using it in a small opportunity and don't mentality a little extra noise.
