It seems to work good ( just got today) but sure is louder than i thought would be, if in same room as TV then you have to turn up TV about 4 or 5 notches

I got this for Xmas after asking for one because my apartment is so dry during the cold winter months. I love that it's black and matches the living room. It does the job and works great. The only thing I don't like about it is that it is noisy to the point where the box has to be turned up to block it out.

The fan is definitely louder than other humidifiers I've had - the low is almost what I like my "white noise" to be at, so it's not a big deal, and the high is just slightly above that. It has a decent sized tank, so I just turn it on high when I leave the house and don't worry about it in succession out of water median owing to the day. It does seem to take up an pointlessly large amount of space for the size of the tank though - it wasn't able to be positioned in an inconspicuous location like my less important humidifier (with, albeit, a less important tank).I was under the impression it did NOT have a filter, but rumor has it that it does. The info carton says it only needs to be replaced once a time of year (you don't want it sitting almost drying out), but I'm not sure of the repercussions of not doing this are.It is humidifying my dry Michigan apartment this winter, so for that, I am pleased with it.

maybe i missed a touch, but I didnt grasp this was a cool mist humidifier.Cold mist + cold air = no damp (the dew point is too low). This is in the end a fancy fan, that makes a room louder and colder at night

I had this humidifier pro YEARS currently (I'm talking in this vicinity 5+ being!!), keep pro in colorless. I be inflicted including not anything negative to say in this vicinity it. Tiny, compact, easy to take care of business including. Lofty enough pro our bedroom. No problem, it is a loud one, keep pro only if it's on the Distinguished setting. It is not as loud if it's on Low. The blast does not bother us at all since we discover it calming (we can't pocket a nap as it's excessively calm down).It facility be fond of a charm as our kids are sick, all owing to persons dried made known chill income, and that.
