The filter fit fine, Directions on the box were relatively easy to follow. The wick was a bit tricky to align, but it is molded, so when it is in correctly, you will know it.

How much can be said about a woven mesh that water dribbles across. It all fit in the hole provided and water dribbled on top and release across the media face. I was SOOOOOOOOO excited.

Initially the filter didn't all fit. I didn't aspire to break down it, potentially destruction it. This lead me to mediate I purchased the ill-treat filter, I figured it made known though you house the vanishing tray on the top tip the element in and gently get behind not working to squeeze the filter into house.

I dredge up my dad looking for a fund of innumerable filters (humidifier, dehumidifier, kiln, air conditioner, drinking water) for innumerable appliances with rising distastefulness. The apparatus might still be in good shape, but the store that sold it went out of affair, and nameless else voted for the same line. Or the manufacturer made some minor tweaks to the point, which just happened to demand a uncommon filter, which just happened to make our unit obsolete. Or it would austerely be sold out, and nameless knew just so when more would turn up. Dad was a guy who apprehensive, and consequence substitution filters provided maybe 5% of his life's quota of worry.How he would have enjoyed Amazon. Just so the right filter, often void from manifold manufacturers, cheap, and delivered surrounded by a few days. Searchable by apparatus model digit. Nice clear cinema. User reviews which point out block out facial appearance and harms. Every time I order a filter from Amazon, I feel a modest burst of thankfulness for the inventors of the Internet and to Jeff Bezos for bringing us Amazon.This fastidious filter isn't primarily easy to bed in or well calculated, but it's EXACTLY the filter I looked-for.
