I use mine for humidification purposes only. It sits on an out of the way place in my bedroom. I run it at max speed and usually change the tanks every day and a half. I have no problem filling the two tanks, even though I have arthritis in my fingers. Since I don't clean the unit until the tanks are empty, I have no problem with lifting the full unit when it comes time to clean. The only thing that would have made this product better would be one that needed to be cleaned less often. The cleaning issue applies to all humidifiers, so this is just ordinary maintenance.
