They do not have the hard strip in succession through the midpoint like the before wicks had. They collected dust much nearer and had dark patches which looked like mold after a few nights of use.Still, they fit my Duracraft DH-830 humidifier and they did work for a even as.

Two filters are not identical, not official humidi-wick filters, and do not come in a wrap, but merely in the brown box they were mailed in. I would guess someone got a better filter of some kind and cut it into a rectangle that may or may not fit my humidifier. One of the filters is thicker than the other, and the thicker one is most like the original for size. They feel like they may possibly fall apart, in fact, the thinner one is kind of separating. I am willing to try them to see if they will work, but I would not buy from this company again.

I approved these filters based on the depiction of the factory packaging. I in fact expected the filters in a brown box containing two sets of filters in fake bags. The filters are not factory replacements. They are not just so the same size and they do not have the metal mesh in the filter that the originals have. Lacking the assess size and the metal mesh the filters tend to leak air once they fill up with water.
