Honeywell HCM-1000 3 Gallon Cool Mist Humidifier Shopper Reviews

Just sought after to say I've been using one of these for over a year now and it's always worked great with the 3 fan levels and variable damp setting. It's never leaked a drop. Only issue I've had is that the underside handle broke so now I have to involve it by only the top handle. Maybe I shouldn't have been carrying it full with that handle anyhow.. But it's still very easily carried so no big deal in my book.

To its credit, it is compact and pretty quiet. I run it single overnight and a satiated tank of water lasts 2 or 3 nights. The major flaw is it occasionally overflows at the base when not in operation. Consequently, I be inflicted including to remove the water dispenser every morning to prevent a bolt from the blue puddle of water on the floor all through the day.

Being paid a additional humidifier has become a regular 3-month affair in our household with three bedrooms. Each Walmart/Target brand any has the fan die, is impossible to clean, or the filter is pressed against the side so that fill up leaks out and ruins the cupboard. I've agreed up on the diffusers since the electrode gets corroded and the moisture just hangs in the confront. So, we've now grabbed a Honeywell (Humidifier number 8). There is a handle on both the top and bottom of the tank, so it's easy to fill and easy to house into the humidifier. The 3 fan speeds are evenly set (one humidifier had 2 "barely breathing" settings followed by "jet turbine.") The humidity setting is a nice upset, but we ordinarily set it for full blast anyways. The fan question easily pops off so you can clean the fan blades. The fill up hand basin is separate from the motor gathering, so you can conceivably toss the total bottom form into the dishwasher to clean out the usual fill up deposit build-up that occurs with humidifiers. The filter is sweet large and it is not pressed against any of the sides, so NO LEAKS. It's been happily buzzing for over a month now with no issues.Yah...I'm happy! I'm prose this as I buy a link more for the rest of the rooms. It's a splendid fee for a surprisingly competent humidifier.- Jim

This Honeywell humidifier facility splendid. I live in the Northeast and bought this humidifier at the admittance of chill this time. It took extremely near one full week previous to it reached optimal damp but it is now so greatly extra comfortable in my household. I've bought additional brands at akin fee points and this is by far the most excellent. To hold out the go of the filter use the Protec cleaning cartridge.

I have had two of these units. On the first one, I bumped the water container on the side of the tub and that was the end of that one. It broke very straightforwardly. Be very austere when big. The other one, the fan went out after the warranty. Another junker. It works great when it is effective. Don't throw away your receipt and warranty. You will need them.

Did not want to rate Honeywell Humidifier because I decided not used it. The above star was a mistake. Positive I am trying to return it. The company only gives a 30 day return policy. I reflect it must be longer.J.McGuire

The element was bought to dampen an norm mass bedroom. It does it water supply, (including the lobby clogged) provided it is run on standard alacrity; low alacrity only doesn't cut it. The element is twisted on a few hours before to bedtime and runs the night. The signal amount at standard is practically check as I be fond of a bit of "colorless blast" to get to pocket a nap. I can pocket see of the TV at a lowish number including the element on standard, if including the intention of helps anyone gauge how loud standard is. The blast amount at distinguished is too loud. They put forward a fill up treatment manufactured goods to aid breakdown mineral deposits in the fill up. I was powerless to discover it locally or on Amazon, but the Kaz website sells it for in this vicinity $3.00 for a tiny pot, clear shipping. I planning it was too high-priced and desire the filter lasts the calculate of time, at which calculate unattractively discard the filter.

What a piece of junk. Must be engineered wrong. Water overflows and then you got a gallon of water the world over. Junk. Do not buy and it is not even worth persistent. You can't give it a 0 star, but I wish I could.

The Honeywell "HCM-1000 3 Gallon" cool mist humidifier was not 3-gal. room...more like lone gallon. It leaked all the water out, all ended the place, over and over again. Huge dissipate of cash! Misrepresented manufactured goods and faulty!

We own two of these, and have had no problems with any of them for the past 5 years. For us, they are exact in the chill for our children's rooms and provide a consistent amount of humidity, a level which we are able to choose. There are 3 fan levels which determines how much humidity is "blown" into the air. The lowest fan level is a soft hum, with the highest being rather loud. In addendum, you can make to diplomacy the level of moisture control; from most to light. The machine stops once dry (but ruins on) and an indicator light comes on reminding you to any shut it off or refill. Stock up on filters and know that you will need to refill the machine each other night (at least) when used at the medium level of humidity and fan.
