..I ended up persistent this unit because the reservoir reservoir is woefully inadequate. It seemed like I was refilling the thing3-4 era/time. I reflect the problem has to do with the demineralizer cartridge, which is big, compelling up a lot of surface vicinity inside the reservoir. They should really put the cartridge somewhere else or make a much larger reservoir. I will display with the intention of the unit worked well and is very well constructed. I also liked the fact with the intention of you don't need persons annoying filters with the intention of my other unit uses(Vornado) However, I'll stab with the Vornado with it's filters and it's two huge tanks. Oh, and the lukewarm mist setting is not really with the intention of lukewarm at all. It's in the end opportunity temp.

This product has a honest flaw - it has a mechanical hygrostat to hegemony humidity. It's basically a jump loaded device. It doesn't work reliably. You set the humidity level one day, but as the jump adjusts to its own tension, its humidity hegemony stops being true.I had to return my unit 3 era. Each time they replaced the return with a strain new unit. But each one eventually manifested the same conundrum. *It is a design defect.* Opportunely, the device has a three-year warranty. If you are the type of self who demands that their purchased harvest work as probable, you will need this warranty. I had to return my unit at the end of every time of year.Sorry to say, the company threatened to stop honoring the warranty since I had returned the unit so many era. Very than send me a unit which would work reliably, they took the tact of blaming me for persistent the defective units. They never claimed that the units that I returned were working at spec. You may not see the conundrum if you have the unit in a large room, but in my case it was used in a small, approx 8' x 12' room with a clogged door. At the buck humidity level setting, the room would eventually get very moist, the level couldn't get dialed down, and I had modest hegemony over the level of humidity. Since the unit doesn't have a digital readout of the humidity level, most broadcast wouldn't see this. But I checked the level against a stand-lonely humidistat. If the hygrostat worked, I'd give the unit 4 stars - it's if not a fine device. I'd echo the sentiment about the tank. I think someone in Marketing told the engineers to design the tank with a visually appealing rounded top. But it's a pain to fill up. You have to always hold onto it while big it. It will not stand up on it's own. It is cumbersome to fill up and will fall over if you let go of it. It's always a two-handed surgical procedure to fill.My advice would be to try one of their units with a digital humidity level readout. I place of safeguard't tried them for myself, but I'm guessing that the hygrostat on persons models will be more true and thus, useful.

This humidifier is fantastic but I cannot get rid of the colorless dust. Even with the fact I'm replacing the desmineralization cartridge regularly, this humidifier is producing a lot of colorless dust.

In the 20 years of by humidifiers, the Air-O-Swiss 7133 is the best we've ever used. After our Seeker Care-Free Humidifier rusted and the motor seized up after 1.5 seasons of use, we researched and decided to go back to the ultrasonic type. The Seeker was loud and very difficult to clean. The Air-O-Swiss solves the two problems we've experienced with previous ultrasonic humidifiers: No more white dust, and no more mineral build-up inside the unit. The instructions say to soak the demineralization cartridge for 24 hours before initially use, and we did that. And we also positioned the silver ionic stick in the basin. And in 2 months of almost continuous chill use, we've by no means had a problem with white dust. And except for rinsing out the unit now and then, this humidifier is the most care-free humidifier we've ever owned. No more scraping off the scaly mineral build up. And no white dust.We keep the unit on a TV tray about 29" higher than the carpet floor. We have forced air heat, and our bedroom is about 250 sq.ft. Based on the measurements of a separate hygrometer in the room, we can get the relation humidity up to about 65% with all settings on full and the door closed, but we aim for about 50% relation humidity which the Air-O-Swiss maintains easily. We tried by the Air-O-Swiss in a larger room (about 400 sq.ft.) and it struggled to raise the humidity higher than 45%.What's also nice is putting the heat on to warm up the mist. This was especially nice when we both had colds. Plus the room feels warmer with the warm moist air. Because it's an ultrasonic humidifier as opposed to the Seeker which was an evaporative humidifier, the Air-O-Swiss is MUCH quieter. No more loud fans. And the Seeker drew air in owing to its fake grill which collected dust and was extremely difficult to clean. And the Air-O-Swiss is simple and easy to keep clean. If this Air-O-Swiss lasts 3 seasons, that it will end up costing the same as the other that only last 1.5 seasons. Time will tell.

I am extremely fortunate including this hold. I can't infer a additional element outperforming this lone.Pros:1)Distinguished design; the prettiest, sleekest humidifier you'll discover. All who sees it compliments me on it and it's become a extremely ordinary acquisition.2)Distinguished productivity: produces a thick, steady spill of damp. As on peak background, outpaces number of additional cheaper units.3)Great consumer benefit: I had a hairline break in the fill up reservoir and the Air-O-Swiss folks replaced it surrounded by income; it was extremely at approximately calculate ago benefit and absolutely hassle emancipated.Cons:1)Including 2 weeks, I exposed a break in the fill up reservoir causing fill up to leak made known onto the desk.2)No hygrometer/hygrostat sight so here's no road to admit pro guaranteed what degree of irony you call for to compensate pro.3)Fill up reservoir is a modest on the tiny feature and desires to be refilled evenly - Extremely evenly if peak number background is old.

I had been pricing and comparing the significant digit of humidifiers on the promote and I am glad I matured on the Air-O-Swiss. Even with its privileged fee, I am practically pleased with its functions, potential, top and particularly, its calm down surgical course of action. I was looking to pay between $70-150 for a calm down, low-maintenance develop to add damp to my [very dry] 10x12' bedroom. I purchased it at a community pile for the same fee as planned on Amazon; I am glad I was able to see [and hear] this develop in surgical course of action. Here is NO signal, even at the peak background. I'm a set alight sleeper and cannot reflect owing to a bedroom apparatus that even approaches a dull hum.The noticeable mist generated by this develop is lovely for me and my pets.I have been refilling each daylight, as I have had the contrivance on a high background and in succession frenziedly. The screened-off area becomes in this area half-void with a full day at this background. Refilling is a snap. The cleverness to have cool and warm settings is a big plus, in view of the fact that the jury is soothe out a propos the negatives and rewards of any mode. The logic has been in succession sterile and I am fastidious this will take up again to be the case with a tiny amount of try. The cost of the filter and the silver stab is not aloof and the not compulsory three-week maintenance try out is evenhanded. The top is practically significant. Minimalist and significant.I have it meeting on the baffle and here is no dankness on the carpet as mentioned by owners of additional brands. This tells me that this develop is dependability a good job of propelling the mist into the air.My roommate recently paid $29 for a less important Holmes humidifier. The Holmes is downright loud and I am sure she would have paid the alteration for an Air-O-Swiss. Silent surgical course of action is actually important. The only doable inadequacy is the hygrometer. It is not completely intuitive: the apparatus is to shut off with the much loved damp percentage is met, yet I have yet to see the develop shut itself off. Rotary it off manually is not a big deal.I took a big step purchasing an air cleanser, but this hold has made a noteworthy alteration in my bedtime and bedroom comfort. I've had some chill nights with from the bottom of your heart difficult [consequence, smoke and pet-correlated] breathing but I find this contrivance has agreed me a modest concord of mind and physical chat.

I've tried a number of humidifiers ended the being, and this is by far the most excellent. It is a skilled mass for a bedroom. I use it each nighttime and for an hour or so all owing to my son's nap all day, and I end up refilling the tank each day or so, depending on how dry the air is. I wouldn't aspire to house the fill up meeting in here any longer, anyhow. I be fond of the less important-sized fill up reservoir, as it's not too gray as to the top and it fits of laughter basically below the bath tap. The joystick are undemanding to be with you and use. I be fond of go able to see and preside ended the mist. I be fond of its thermostat and car-shutoff. I be fond of that it can yield up any lukewarm mist or cool mist. I haven't had any harms with leaks or soaking the stump, as mentioned in a additional review. I have it on top of a chest of drawers, with a cloth placemat bottom it. I be fond of that it tells you as it desires cleaning. It is high-priced, but I don't discontent the purchase and would recommend this cut.

With not having much experience with buying humidifiers, I purchased this one based on some online investigate and with the help of user reviews. I was very worried about the noise factor that comes with having a cool mist humidifier but this one passes with flying insignia. I'm a very light sleeper and require almost total silence in order to fall asleep. I can't even tell that this apparatus is in the same room! I love the fact that it can be switched from cool to warm mist at the press of a button and that I can control the amount of mist and how fast or slow it comes out. The only breakdown that I've experienced is how difficult it is to keep clean. The soothe fill up that sits in the unit's base will have a black build up. This same build up is located at the base of the blue, fill up-land part, as well as the tube and attachment the mist comes out of. The apparatus comes with a small brush, which does not do the job. By in succession pressurized fill up over the build up and using a long tubular teem brush I can get the unit semi-clean. If any one has a better method, please let me know.

I've reviewed and tried several home humidifiers and find the develop 7133 a passionate contender for 'best of breed'. In view of the fact that I use it in the bedroom, it had to be very calm down; which the 7133 is. It holds about 2 gallons of fill up which on a mid-setting both for the humidistat and the productivity power keeps the room (about 15' x 15') at 40% damp (reasonably comfortable). On big of 2 gallons (abstractedly less in view of the fact that the filter takes up a bit of room) runs for 24 hours at this setting. In view of the fact that I only use in the evenings when I'm home, it lasts for 2 days. It also seemed to me that if you want a humidifier with a better room, that it gets pretty gray lugging that much fill up. 2 gallons seemed like a good compromise number. The filter has to be altered every 3-4 months, depending upon frequency and length of use. The unit comes with 1 filter. The silver stick that also comes with it, controls bacterial advance for up to a year. Equipment and constructions are of excellent feature.I checked out several reviews of the manufactured goods; looked at an grown-up Consumer Intelligence on humidifiers (it didn't rate this manufacturer), but it's crash on other brands didn't actually impress me, in view of the fact that so many don't seem to come with a humidistat (an important condition in my view, in view of the fact that it helps keep the damp amount steady). I purchased it for $134.95 at a community seller, and on-line prices seem akin. So far, it appears to be fair traded. I highly urge this manufactured goods.

I was actually glad to have found this, even threw away our old humidifier that wasn't so great once I saw how great it was. Then, just so one week later, it austerely quit producing mist. The consumer benefit reps at Air-o-Swiss seemed hellbent on blaming me, building me waste a lot of time on the phone with them the acting their obtuse "fixes" (and, frustratingly, building me do again the same ones every time I spoke to a name new). Now I get to mail it back to them with my own money (post personnel lines at celebration time - fun!) and do lacking until they get almost to mailing one back. And no, they have not been apologetic in the least.
